Hi,
I am looking for a Wave Editor which has these features:
1. Nudging -> Moving audio in samples, bars, ...
2. Tab to Transient
3. Good integration with DAWs would be a plus.
4. Don't recommend WAVELAB

 

what is this and in which editor did you see this?

integration with daws - can't remember any daw that supporting integration with third party developers software like editor... what is your daw?

when I was on windows I used sony soundforge. it's really multi-functional editor with a lot of features.

I do have soundforge. But it does not have tab to transient.
What is tab to transient? It is basically a feature of Pro Tools in which you can select and audio, hit the tab button, and move to the start transient of a wave. Just google Tab to transient.

 

The problem is, I need a wave editor. I am almost aware of all DAW features available on the market.
Reaper is pretty good at it but not a wave editor.
I want to use a wave editor with Ableton. Ableton sucks at Wave editing to be honest. So bad. Almost a disaster. Don't debate with me about ableton. I need a wave editor with those features. Wavelab is pretty good, but the pro version, in addition it does not integrate properly with ableton.

 

Sound Forge *does* have tab to transient, it's just not called that and a little fiddly: turn on snapping, turn off snap to grid, turn on snap to zero crossings, press left or right to jump to next tansient

 

Does it have Nudge feature too?! Preferably a keyboard shortcut
