    Hi

I looking for a rompler with a good quality and cpu friendly ( of course no have the perfect rompler but in the middle term)
I would like to have most acoustic instruments ( like strings brass,, woodwinds, bass, piano etc)i dont need synths guitars or acoustic drums I have other plugins for that,

I Just wanna use when I m compose cause later after i finish that process before mix I use my heavy libraries of kontakt and tweeking the sound but when i working on creative process i dont wanna wait much time on loading samples, or make my computer slow.

I try sampletank but some presets takes time to load, also I try purity but is 32 bits , and i dont like much the steinberg halion sonic.

    any one know any option?

If can be compatible with mac and windows better

    Thanks

xpand 2 is pretty decent. Not the best presets in the world but usable nonetheless

Btw Also the range of expansions nexus2 offers the user is exactly what you seem to want...ie strings/woodwinds/etc etc and not just the analog stuff,i rarely use my copy but personally ive all the expanders and if i ever need the kind of sound you mentioned then its all at hand!!
That said im sure there are other options but i only can base an opinion on what ive used....

Nexus 2 is by far the best rompler it got pretty much all sounds a creator will ever need.
just need to turn off the reverb. most patches are already layered and you can edit the layers to create new sounds.
low on cpu and its fast. nexus is the first tool i use when an idea spark, never fails me.
its a pity we can't demo the expansions when they release. if you can afford it buy them all 2.5k worth money well spent.

Its still on sale so grab it before the price rise again.
