    Hi,
I need your help about my need for an acoustic drum kit samples (I mean registered in studio). I know there is EZDrummer2 (tried a couple weeks ago: really impressive) but I need something "ready to go" then the best and fast solution (for me) is still buying a collections of samples... between hundreds sold as "real". So my question is : which one is good enough to spend some money? Which one can you suggest to me? Of course I need it for Lo-Fi and Chill out and so on...
    TIA

  6. Oma is a word used as grandmother in German and Omar Hakim is just one of the baddest motherfuckers ever on drums, so I can see how you could have been confused. Now you know.

  8. :) Sorry, just my poor attempt at trying to be funny by playing a word game by mixing two different languages together and probably confusing everyone but myself...and I lost the spelling rating, it was part of it too.

Erik Jackson Sunday Breaks Vol 1-2 (studio recorded)
J-Zone Lunch Breaks (raw and dirty)

may fit your needs.. these are also available @ known locations or via pm :mates:so you can try before you buy..

another approach would be to use NI vintage drummer 60s or 70s edition or EZDrummer
and the contained midi files and tweak & quantise from there to your needs.. if know how to use compression you can squeeze some serious loops out of these.. i think i have round about 70k Midi Grooves for EZDrummer (also working with NI Drummers) if interested..

I quite love Big Mono. You can make great real-sounding beats with it. I like Addictive Drums 1 and 2, also, when you turn all of the XLN FX off.

Shame I can't record my own drums. I know a good drummer, we have a good sounding room, I have the equipment, but still in the process of collecting good mikes for that! It's much easier to record choirs or even small orchestras.
