Hey Guys, i've made an Epic/Orchestral Music piece, but i feel like it needs some good Distortion sound, (a Metal Sounding Guitar).


i Could have done one using some Virtual Instruments, but i prefer someone with experience, someone that can actually make something interesting, and make my track more interesting.

All was made using Virtual Instruments, Made it using Fl Studio 12, Mastered with iZotope Ozone 6 (Standalone Version),

ok i listened again. sorry i was wrong, its not musical error its rhythmical. the marching snare drums are a bit out of sync. not much but its enough to loose the tightness. there is some kind of artifact on the left channel here and there, not a biggie.

can i download it from soundcloud ? i try to put some guitars on it.

 

I thought he did that on purpose.

I'd probably use a different sample for the snare (or layer) and the attack on the violin is not right. It's too sluggish. Move the MIDI data or choose another articulation.

i don't know how to explain this, for me the snare is in sync, the other drums, i did change the position in purpose to make it more humanize,

I Like it but not all of it, i liked the part where you used the slide thing (please don't mind me, i'm new to the guitar/metal world in general) and the part where you used the palm muted notes as well,

the thing i didn't like is how did you cut the sound, not good in my opinion, anyway, i'll ask this from you, when i was working on it, i made the first part kinda simple, then a break, then the next part was a bit complicated one, in term of notes, what i want to ask you is, to make a solo part for the break, and a more complicated playing in the last part.

Last thing, if possible please send me a distorted (choose at your own taste) and non-distorted(for me to pick a distortion for it) version separated, so i can mix and see how it sounds in the mix.

Well, what you played is not bad, it is good actually, if it was only played in the Break part, is this is a solo, and what Pro tools 10 did is better as an intro, would love to hear something with buildup.
