HI Folks,


I have an issue with my Logic Remote. I can't connecting it through Bluetooth or an internal offline Wi-Fi that I create. I always see the Icon on my IPad but when selecting it nothing happens. It only connects and working without any issues with my online Wifi. But I won’t be using LPX when I am online.


What I tried so far is a Soft reset on my IPad, deleting the Remote app, deleting my IPad on the cs screen in logic.

But nothing worked so far.

I don’t have a firewall or an Antivirus program. I allowing all rights through Bluetooth.

I am on latest OSX El Capitan and I have a IPad 4th Generation (latest IOS on it)

Hope somebody can help me out.

Well, hate to disappoint, but whether you check the links above and configure correctly, this new version is 'recognised' on both laptop (LPX 10.3) and iPad, but DOESN'T WORK! The last version worked perfectly ;(. If anyone has got it working, holla!

 

Actually... Just got the remote working by following the first stage of this advice (deleting a specific preferences file), then rebooting.

Thank you for all replies, but unfortunately both advise did not worked.

@gorri I followed all the step but the cant see my IPad on the My Session Panel. So, I think something is wrong with my self-created Wi-Fi connection.

But once again if I try to connect with my online Wi-Fi everything works

@ dinodrums2017 I tried that already but one think is really weird I can’t find the file com.apple.logic.pro.cs even with the hidden file enabled.

So still stuck on this……. ☹

search for com.apple.logic.pro.cs, you can delete from within the app. Find any file also finds hidden files...very useful. Good luck.
