    Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to "extract" plugins from recent Logic Pro X 10.4 (which is incompatible with anything until Sierra) to be used in other DAWs (.component AU plugin format) on incompatible MacOS version?

Unfortunately this is not possible with Logic. The AU's are 'baked' into the application. You find them if you dive into the app. (Show Package cont.) but they don't work on any other daw that I know off. I've tried this on earlier versions of logic but without avail. . . more_info
There's enough AU's in the wild that will do the same or better.

sadly enough that would be the last thing they make easy to do.
the software is an essential part of the locomotive that pushes their sales forward forcing hardware upgrades financing the whole treadmill
