Logic Pro Help

  1. Hello

I am wondering, is there any way to add effects to delays in Logic Pro. I don't mean the actual track instrument track itself but the effects track...like putting a delay on a track and then putting a modulation plugin onto the delay?

    Can this be done?

    Thanks

send your instrument track to an aux bus, then put your desired effects onto that bus. finally, blend the affected sound in with your instrument track using the effect channel fader or a gain plugin

    example:

instrument track > send to bus 1 (post fader) > delay / modulation / eq / etc > balance level using fader

it's usually best practice to set your effects to 100% wet, so your instrument track functions as your dry signal and your aux track functions as your wet signal for blending purposes

the issue with doing this is your volume of the source track effects the volume going to the bus... so just use two busses, one wet and one dry then you will have more control
