    Hello,

I would like to play live with bitwig.
I have 4 outputs on my souncard. I play guitare ans there are two singers. I use bitwig for drums ans bass.
Is there a way to have a front mix and a différent mix for musicians on stage ?
Thé solution I have for now ils to copy all tracks and assign different outputs.
    Tks in advance.

I mean, you got the audiointerface, but don't you have some sort of mixing desk or something?
No, lets start like this: Who is doing the PA? The club? Is there an already installed sound system with front of house mixing, monitoring PA and all that in place and is there going to be someone handling all that? Or is it all you and you're bringing the PA?
If it's all you you gonna need some sort of mixer with auxes. Life the auxes are used for the monitoring mix, or larger venues have mixers just for the monitoring mix with one bloke being there just for that.

//Edit// If the club is doing all that you don't have to do anything, every individual musician just has to tell the soundie what to put on ones individual monitor.

//edit// there are soundcards that might be up to the task because they have a built in mixer.
Like stuff from rme or steinbergs 828 come to my mind. If your hardware supports that (meaning it has some sort of dsp in there) you use the auxes in the controller panel of your soundcard. not in bitwig, because that might add latency. There is hardware with zero latency monitoring (baked into the asio driver), but don't bet on that. you don't want to do soundcheck an hour before the concert and find out hat somehow every musician gets his signal with 20ms delay.

With 4 outputs, yes you can output 1-2 for front house and 3-4 as monitoring/cue.
This is what DJ on laptops are doing for decades
