    Hi,
I noticed that Ableton Live Suite comes with something like 70 gigs of additional content ("Live Packs"). I wanted to ask how much, or if even any at all, of this factory content is included in the releases out there. Those releases are about 1.2 gigs in size (compressed), probably a bit larger after extraction. Do those come with any sounds at all, I mean can you start doing beats or basic synth stuff with those versions, or do you need external plugins, samples and synths to get going, similar to Reaper? Are those Live Packs worth it for a Novice, in your opinion?

And is it possible (or advisable) to use Packs from Suite 9.x in Suite 10.x? I read that the Packs for 10.x are improved over the ones for 9.x so I don't know if that is a good option. How big is the difference between those? Because as far as I can tell, there are collections of the Packs for Suite 9.x out there and it looks like you have the option of using those in Suite 10.x.
