I was using Live 9.7.3 just earlier today, no problems. R2R release.

Now a couple of hours later I launch Live and I have to authorize. The authorization file generated by the keygen is no longer accepted (Says "Invalid for this computer"). What now? :S

Nothing changed from last use to now.

Anyone else had this happen today?

 

Did you uncheck "get automatic updates" in Options/Preferences/Licenses after first launch ?

 

How did you end up with this? There is no such thing in Live. (disable updates and send usage data) Timebomb in a few hours?

I'm not sure if I ever disabled that, which means I probably did not.

I may not have disabled those options so I guess that might be the reason. I have had Live installed on this machine for about a month, but like I said it's been working fine and authorized until just a few hours ago. I was about to re-open a project I started on just earlier today when I was met with the authorization menu.

Can I still re-install the R2R release?

 

I did exactly that and I did not even have to authorize again. Automatic updates now disabled and lesson learned, thanks for all replies!

 

Have you tryed the o/i patcher on the update ?
you should get it if you don't have a copy yet ,least that way you can update anytime

Eddit: i just rembered the R2R version now unlock more addons or something like that
so could be best till they share the update lol

Not sure what exactly you mean. Could you point me in the right direction? Is this something I can find on the sister site? All I have is the 9.7.3 R2R release.

I might just buy an educational license soon either way and go (mostly) legit, even though I don't make anything from what I produce.

you could be better of waiting for a update from R2R
there is a old patcher that should still work but the R2R version has more addons unlocked i think.

If u use cracked software u have to block them via firewall, so that problems like named here not occur.
