    I bought Live 10 after getting Live 9 intro for $10 2 weeks ago, which brought down the upgrade cost of Live 10 to £367. Due to the fact I love Live's workflow and ease of use, at least for me. I hope it doesn't crash as often. The one thing I can't find any info on is the "DrumSynths" That are listed as instruments in Live10 Suite advert??? Where are they? or do they not exist. I was really hoping for some decent sort of drumsynths :(

    Apart from that its pretty much Live9 with a few more bells, I'm happy with it. I would have bought Live 9 a few years ago but I was just too skint. Live 10 is my 40th Birthday present to myself :)

    I agree with those wh think that the price for Live is really high, but there's a way to pay less, if you own a Live lite version (often given away with hardware) and wait for the big summer discount you can save big...
    I paid Live 9 suite 310 € + VAT (60 € in my country)

    i own like 3 Live Lite version (v4 ones they are upgraded to v8 lite) and as i was ready to upgrade one to suite in 2013, ableton told me, no they dont qualify for upgrading pay full. so i said pfff, because im now in the pfff people group.

    At least on Win7 the performance is quite the same as with Live 9, besides if you have live sets which heavily use max4live devices (than its better due to the now integrated brand new max v8 engine / more lfos for me ;).

    BUT: when using Push2 there are some really nasty cpu load spikes especially when the display shows some of the new eye-candy like the live frequency histogram in the background of the EQ8 settings. On older 2-core cpus this hits really bad.

    Hi Ash1, thanks for the link I guess it must be that, it's just a bit misleading with it stating in their advert as an actual instrument like Wavetable, Analog, Operator etc. Thanks for the link I still need to download the packs, bit short on SSD space right now.

    seems to work for them, but they dont do whole movies, more like smaller clips.

    Edit: So far, seems like a yes. Both 9 & 10 installed, both appear authorized, both seem to be working on win 8.1. Installing on 10 now.
    Edit the last: Installed on win10, both seem OK. Like.

    Just played with new version... it's now a decent version of Live. It runs very smoothly compared to v9. I'm on Win10 i7 CPU.
    Big surprise is M4L CPU usage - finally. Someone other already noted that starting and stopping time is improved too, yes it is.
    Dark skin is really great, good on eyes.

    All that time for that? I mean, i liked the new features and stuff, but i don't see really anything that i can call "Innovative".They are still behind in many ways, I expected a lot more from Ableton.
