Super dope app/sequencer/experimental "daw"/groove....form? There is a free version, if you'd like to check it out! Also on steam, for croiss platformin'! Can't explain it very well, sorry, but worth download, for sure!

Mazetools Mutant:


So, obviously from the same devs/company - and somewhat similar, in ways to Soniface - but this one allows collabs in real time, with your friends! So much fun just messing around, but it's actually super complex and has deep algorithms to coordinate all the functions. A lot to learn!

Okay so if you haven't heard/tried this one out yet, you are missing out for sure! I have an sp-404a that should be here, hopefully tomorrow....but while waiting, i've found this app! I think it was like $3 or $4? But in all honesty, it ALMOST does everything the sp-404 line of roland samplers can do, but thru software, obvs, and often, it seems, more efficiently! Sample from literally anywhere, with the phone mic, or import sounds, or what i like to do is: Split screen the app with my browser, go on splice, and "browse" thru their samples that i think i could use. Then, using split screen, start sampling the samples of the samples! For free, and build dem beats.

If anyone gets or has mutant, lmk, would love to jam with someone else!


[edit - oh shoot, totally forgot, Honorable mention (free!): Old Time Radio, paired with Dolby On for recording it. Have found some amazing samples in the past, just letting it roll
