Just thinking out loud here. I am a fan of ueberschall elastik. Have been a fan of ueberchall for a long time. I read somewhere that you can simply rename .liquid banks to .elastik and the elastik player will read them. It's true. I recently tried this rename and got liquid instrument guitar to load in. It plays just fine. I kind of miss the melodyne style edits that the liquid instrument interface had. Allowed highly custom scales etc. Any thoughts?

it is a pity that they switched the third party pitching technology for 3 times and that it took some 10 years until they finally offered a generic player for custom content.

It should work like it always did. What it means is the elastik player doesn't have some of the good edit features we had in the liquid interface. We used to be able to edit individual notes in various ways we cannot in elastik. They do play in elastik once renamed but without the edits I miss. I could still install the liquid version. I think I will. It was good.

It's almost like they down graded it when they went to elastik.

Wonder if it works the other way. Rename .elastik to .liquid.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could rename the other way, and get elastik to load into .liquid player, and then we could use this missing editor on elastik? I am gonna have to try this.
