I've been in a similar boat re: a few unfinished liquid dnb sessions. I'd be interested in collabing.

SyNtH is really talented artist so it would be a great collaboration experience. He will be featured on the AudioSex album coming soon.

    How does this work?

the thought of working on a track with a co-producer fills me with dread, the thought of someone fiddling with my track lol

who does what? does one do the drums and the other does the music etc?

who does the intro or outro?

    just curious...

Give me six days to finish my uni studies and i'll contact you again. Love collaborating in stuff! I'm more of a singer or musician than a producer, i could record some vocals, synthlines or whatever for you to mangle.

    Anyway, great idea!

The first LP, Polar by my band Mugga was not produced by me, there i do lead vocals and synthparts. Anything else is totally or partially mine.

Sorry for the sloppy english! Greetings from Madrid! :3

Im kind of against that kind of production constraint, (ive worked with people in the past who have tried to do that, but i feel that it doesnt capture the tone of the song properly). It still can work, and people can create certain elements of a song, like you mentioned, have one person create the drum segments and another create the pads/synths etc and then combine them, and then have one person mix them together. If the collab has no foundation i would usually set some sort of ceiling on fundamental notes so they cant stray away too far from an idea.
Usually after about 2-3 iterations a basis is usually found and an idea is solidified so the intro outro stuff doesnt usually work as a wholesome segment, but more of a mixdown of all the different ideas with different elements present at different volumes/effects.

I feel like there are usually a few key components of a song that should not be changed too much, but then after that, the collaborator should have free roam over what they change and add to a song.

No worries about the english, perectly understandable. Ill give your soundcloud a check and pm you with some more info+preview.
