    Because both Ubuntu Studio and AV Linux still exist and are still maintained.
    The thread is old, the subject isn't.

    BTW, my experience with such Linux distributions is rather limited audio and MIDI hardware support...

    Use qBittorrent to download torrents. It is open source, there are no ads like utorrent. It's GUI is simple and feels like home for a utorrent user. utorrent was good when there was no pro version and no ads.
