Converting 32-bit plug-ins using jBridge (Win)

• Live Versions: 8.4 and later

As of Live 10.1, only 64-bit plug-ins are supported. If you're using 32-bit plug-ins, you'll need to convert them using a third-party tool like jBridge.

Ideally, you should install a native 64-bit plug-in version if available. Converted plug-ins are not as stable as native 64-bit versions.

You don't need to install these plugins, there is no VST3 support. what do you mean by stripped down or in other words what annoys you about the DAWs, too big - too much data? It's pretty fast and has short loading times and looks refreshingly different. It has few menus. I once installed it only for 32-bit plugins because my directory was so big that I always had to search endlessly.

 

If you use your own samples One Small Clue is a miniscule download. There are samples to download but you don't have to. 16 pads with layers, a rudimentary edit window and other little tidbits. You can also reskin it yourself and make it your own. I did.

this description sounds like magix (sony/sonic foundry) acid, although I haven't used it in 20 years so who knows what the new version looks like
