    Hello you all.
Okay first off I am glad to finally have joined this forum. I've mostly been on the board.
With that being said, let's get it on.

Okay, I am basically a musician with skills in 2D/3D-Graphics and Design, as well. But yeah this is about music right?

My main interest is Ambient/Electro -progressive music and that's been my homebase for the past 15 years or so.

-How did you end up there?
Pretty simply, I have my roots from the Commodore 64, Amiga and Atari -demoscene, as today is called "retro/vintage" computer scene :) Even though, I prefer to name it "oldschool scene", because that was where it all took place. Yes, it's actually true that guys who were working on the Commodore 64 developing games like "The Last Ninja", "Rambo First Blood II", "Delta", "Wizball" and many more games, are still working on modern games today. So yep that's where I grew up on and how I got into making music. -What happened next?
Good question, I guess that when I heard the so called "tape loader's music", which were the music you listened to meanwhile a game loaded. I found it very fascinating and quite many times I paused the tape, to just hear the song over and over. So yep, I took my reference from Vangelis, Jarre, Ian Boddy, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin and other guys like them, along with my classical music background I got from the age at 6. Twisted it up with harmonics, melodies and rhythm from Acid Jazz, Funk, Rock and Pop.

-Sounds great and what did all this turn to?
I got very excited to be able to make my own music and really take all the experience and music to something personal and yes even make songs of it.
-Great and from now on, what's going on?
Ahh, yeah well a madness of years ago I created my own music label, "Dees Productions", and that's been my ship eversince. and Today I am the captain on that ship so it's going all the time :)
Excellent, a ship must be going but what fule do you run on?
Much of what I am making today is a blend of two worlds, where one is real hardware and instruments and the parallel world is software.

    -Why?
Well, I design most of the sounds myself so it's sometimes more easy to hook up some hardware and tweak sounds, but when you're on the run you want it to be beneath your fingertips. and It's quite a massive work to carry around a whole studio in your pocket, right? ;)

-Final question then, where do we find your music?
Phew, glad you asked I never thought you'd pop that question, hah <big smile>

Your reference to the Commodore 64 had me interested straight away.
I listened to the first three tracks and enjoyed them all.

Real nice blast from the past. I loved the C64 music too and I listen to them on a regular basis from here: http://remix.kwed.org/

    Keep up the excellent work.

    Mark.

Thanks Mark, it means alot. "RKO", is a very nice place I keep going there as well and been doing quite some remixes, as well. Think it's 30+ now hah.
Some how the C-64 music is still playing a huge part of my life and as a matter of fact I still do some chipmusic. 6581 is the C-64's soundchip (Old model SID 6581 and New model SID8580).
    See you around ;)
