I'm new to the forum, and I can say it's really awesome. Lots of stuff to learn here

I was looking for answers to my questions, and unforunately couldn't find them.
I hope you'll have time to help me.

I haven't updated my setup for a looooong time:
I'm working on PT9 with waves 8.x (all [k]) under 10.6.8.
So far, I managed to have a stable setup and even produced seriously some of my music with that, but I miss some new features in PT12 I use in the studios I work in, and PT9 keeps crashing once in a while.

Truth is, I have the opportunity to buy a legit version of PT12. But I will never have the money to also buy all the plugins I use for now (mostly waves bundle and Ozone).

So, here are my questions :

- Will the latest cracked waves bundle work with a legit PT12 ?
- What version of cracked waves bundle shall I use ?
- Will all this work under 10.6.8 or will I have to upgrade to a more recent OS ?

None of cracked AAX plugins will work without a cracked host. You need cracked PT for that, as stated in all release nfos. For Waves, the recently released AAX waveshells work no problem, though if you're looking for legit, make sure you're on Waves mailing list - they do promos pretty much all the time, and several times a year you can grab a free license - just from being on the newsletter and knowing all the promos they do, I have Eddie Kramer Guitar Channel, OneKnob Louder, OneKnob Pumper and TrueVerb in 2 years alone. So that's a nice way. Also for Waves - if it ain't on sale, don't buy it.

As far as PT12 system requirements go, I have no idea - Avid's website is gonna help you.

the waves bundle won' work natively in AAX for legit PT12, but you can load the cracked waves vst version from pt12 through bluecat patchworks.

 

hello, you could explain better how to patch through bluecat patchworks and where i can find it please?
Could you tell me where to find the new Waves crackfor Mac?

I've done my research on bluecat patchwork, and they say that it can be "used alone or inserted on any type of track in your favorite DAW, with up to 16 audio channels", "up to 64 VST or Audio Unit plug-ins".

16 channels is soooo little
Anyway, it is better than nothing.

What version of patchwork do you guys use ?
Where did you find it ?
What version of waves VST do you use, and where did you find it ? :D

I've also seen a thread sorting working Crack plug-ins with PT11.
Should we open a similar one for PT12 ?
I'd be really interesed .....

 

Stop. Wait. 16 audio channels means in one patchwork you have 16 ins, 16 outs (I guess that means 8 stereo in/outs). That's in one single plugin that you put on one of your PT tracks. BUT. It won't work in legit PT12 unless you buy Patchwork. Neither Waves, nor Patchwork will work cracked in legit PT12. Also guys, telling him to ditch native AAX and wrap VSTs? Seriously? Get cracked PT12 and use proper AAX plugins and save yourself some headache.

Anyway guys, what's the latest cracked waves version I can use with my legit PT10 ?
