Legit M4L device w/ Ableton from Sister Site

    I'm sure I can't be the first person asking this but I can only find questions about the opposite (legit Live w/ M4L device from sister site). Is it possible to use legit M4L devices w/ Ableton from sister site? Specifically I'm interested in the Ableton Kurse live looping bundle). Also, as a general question...if I purchase a M4L device is there anything preventing me from installing it on multiple (4+) computers?

    I don't think there are any restrictions with m4l devices. If you have a working version of ableton (legit or not) they'll work.

    It'll work fine. M4L devices have no access to any licensing part of Live.

    Theoretically a copy protection/licensing scheme could be cooked up in Max itself, but as there are ways around this no one bothers much. Just open up a .maxpat or an .amxd device in a text editor.
