Vista was really bad with the gadgets idea and if i remember right it had also driver problems. It also has 10 million lines more code than windows 7. Nobody needed it and most people just skipped it where as 7 became propably the last good windows. I think at the time Vista was significally worse than xp but this is not the case with seven.

You can make seven very lightweight , its not a milestone os like XP but its the best we have

Windows 10 if you look closely is on " " , i too think its a bad operating system. Not that it itself is bad, it just has nothing new to offer from windows 7 except the horrible concept of microsoft deciding when you update + all the bloat spyware.

Windows 11 is horrible and most people will propably skip it , thats why as we follow the logical path, they are already developing 12. This is the money making plan for microsoft. Half of the operating systems they just do as a joke to sell licenses to companies and idiots that think the latest is always the best. Then they make old ones obsolete with one line of driver code somewhere and by pressuring manufacturers to stop supporting anything old
