I watched it... but... I guess I'm not into the specific kick he made... Just bein' honest... not that it is wrong or anything... just not into his version...

but I know what he's goin for, and I definitely like the "rumble" kicks/basses.

 

You can make that in fraction of the time by using a polyphonic drum synthesizer like Chromaphone. I would rather concentrate on bass on a separate track. Just my 2 cents.
