    When I first read this story and saw the IP addresses I almost fell out of my chair because I didn't think anyone could be that stupid but then again these are cops so...

    Those aren't external addresses idiots. :rofl:

    Your ISP will assign you an ip address (external) this is what allegedly gives the so called law enforcement agencies the evidence that you are being naughty, regardless of the fact that your ISP will assign different IP addresses to you at any given time, so they are NOT endemic to your computer and dont forget if your wifi is open, others can use your IP address.

    Internal IP addresses are given by your router to all your connected devices, computers, smart phones, games consoles etc which are the very ones which this particualr law enforcement agency is trying to gain evidence from.

    It's funny but also very very scary, knowing that the people dishing out the wrath of the law have absolutely no idea what they are doing, then again history dictates that many many innocent people have been wrongly imprisoned by incompetence and ignorance.
