I am following the steps correctly, but im missing a lot of plugins. In cubase theres only a partial list. In pro tools 10, all the plugins that would load in studio rack are now gone? Any ideas?

ps - i made a restore point before installing and then tried going back to the resotre point, but it doesn't reverse the install, does anyone know why?

    cheers

Are you running OSX or Windows? Which version.

You can manually delete the folder where Waves installed, the plugins from installed locations & then, edit the registry
    in Windows.

To get started for Windows -
Default install folder (where Waves is installed to):
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves

    Waveshell VST3 files:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3

    Waveshell VST files:
Where you have your VST2 plugins installed. Defaults are:
    C:\Program Files\Vstplugins
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins

    or

    C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VST
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VST

    Also look in:
    C:\ProgramData\Waves Audio
    C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Roaming\Waves Audio
    C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Local\Waves Audio

If you are not familiar with editing the registry, you should first try a free registry editor like Auslogics Registry Cleaner.
Run this after you have removed what you can find of Waves from the hard drive. Then open the regedit and do a search for Waves.

Regedit is launched by typing regedit in the Run box from the Start menu. Once open, hit F3, select Match whole string only ( to narrow search). Hit F3 again after finding and deleting any remaining listings for Waves making sure that you are only references to Waves products, not system info for Wave audio files.
