For those with a UAD audio system, the latest update is causing problems with MIDI controller inputs.

The Console application takes control of all inputs and doesn't allow any signals to pass through to other applications.

If you're trying to restore functionality to your MIDI controllers, the temporary solution is to navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Audio\UAD Console directory and rename UAMixerHelper.exe to, for example, UAMixerHelper.bak.

Then restart your system and everything will work fine again.

I'm posting this in case it helps someone avoid spending hours figuring out why something that worked suddenly stopped working. As I just did for an afternoon...

This is a heads up for anyone who's not active on UAD Forums. FYI, this appearently happens on Windows only.
As many users reported this bug to the suppport I expect the fix soon.

Yes, it's only on Windows, that's why I posted on PC. I lost half a day of work because of that...

Thanks for the heads up. Disgraceful once again from UA, especially since they pushed this forced update thing. If we could download the full pack like previously and roll back it wouldn't matter as much...

Once again, another reason to keep the computer offline when dealing with UA.
