have you tried the latest version (5)? you can download the free player from the NI website http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-5-player/free-download/

If I remember well it should be 5.2 or 5.3.1 using some kind of sorcery (on my old laptop I have 5.2). Officially the last one is version 4 as SSS pointed out.

Exactly what kunkan wrote...Latest working version for XP and Vista was v5.3.1 (and this can be done only with my workaround or Tracers Win XP/Vista Fix Patch)... You can find both at Audioz. I would prefer updating your OS to Win7...as this is much better/stable than Vista...And a PC that is able to run Vista also can run Win7!

 

Hi all I found this on the Microsoft site yesterday a copy of windows thin pc its a lite version of 7 32bit. (today I could not find the link for it sorry) if Google it you will find it.

It uses 300mb+ about 30-40 processors, head over to black viper this will give a list of services you can turn off.

all new software works with this hope this helps

I tried the last Kontakt 5.4.3 it doesn't work on Vista (

I want to use that VIP Loops And Big Fish Audio Fuse KONTAKT-AUDIOSTRIKE

So the only solution is to upgrade to Windows 7? I'm really scared of doing that type of stuff, I never did this kind of stuff, I'm afraid to lose everything or that something goes wrong

 

You can't request or link to warez here. Reference a release by name only please.

There's nothing scary about installing Windows 7. Simply make sure to backup all your data first and be thorough. If you have any questions before proceeding you can always get help from the community. It's worth it because it's a much better OS and you won't have to deal with this problem for a while. You shouldn't upgrade though, you should do a clean install.

 

@Goodmusic if its only a few libaries you want to try out
and you have a good few plugins installed, daw installed ,sound packs ect
and every thing is set up how you like,i would skip win 7 and spend the time
making some tunes and getting to know your daw and plugins better.

what you learn with your daw and plugins and skills you put time into learing
will alway go with you no matter what os your on,
so i would put learing number one on your list.
the libaries will still be there in years to come
so there is no rush its just the urge we can all get to try out new libaries,plugins ect
and its something most of us go true,

if you dont have v531 installed already
download and install kontakt 5 first
ill send you the 5.3.1 files in a small pack
that you can use to update v 5 to v 531
so you should be up and runing in no time with it
there are also 100s of great libaries that still work in v5.3.1

ps im on vista as well and as long as it starts up it will do the job

 

Alright I'm now running on Windows 7 :D

But I have another problem, when I open "FUSE" library, it open in DEMO MODE

Please someone have any idea how I can resolve,crack it?
