I received a permanently banned warning from KVR.
I subcribed in 2007 and posted more than 1000 posts to help other and I receive today, on christmass day, a warning from abministrator that I amm permanently banned. They don't even give the reason !

Are there new censorship rules in KVR or are administrators retarded ?

I remember that 2 years ago I made skin for some vst plugin.
I made topic on kvr and put link to the rapidgator.
And my account got banned.
The pack doesn't contain vst or anything, just image files.
But I get ban for "warez content" only because rapidgator link.

 

It’s always been a shit experience for me there. Why I never go back. Unless it’s for finding direct links to presets or random work around for plugins.

 

If you break the rules of any site, they can ban you. It doesn't matter if you've been there a day or a decade.

 

When I posted a Gumroad link to my skins on KVR, I had zero issues. You are better off selling your skin ;)

 

issue is I don't know why I have been banned and I sent a mail to the modarator. I noticed several forums are going mad with this censorship rules and we must warn there partners we will no more buy there products to cut down there adverstising revenues.

 

It is happening on ALL forums (including this one).
We already got a KVR thread some days ago.

In fact, the "free speech" illusion is over in all domains.

There's no "free speech" on a moderated forum. They can enforce anything we agree to on the user agreement we accept when we join.

 

Retarded. Happened to me as well, fortunately it wasn't an old account. I didn't do anything wrong or outta ordinary and ofc they failed at providing a reason. I just stay away nowadays, just go back there when I want to advertise plugins I'm selling.

 

You can create a new account in just a few minutes. Names are just noise and smoke ;)

 

"free speech" only matters when the government wants to regulate your right to expression. even then, it's not absolute.
anywhere else, you're screwed.

It's always been bad. GS banned me for supposed "spam". I hadn't posted ANYTHING in ages. So I tried to contact an admin.
Guess what?? When you've been banned you cannot prerform ANY action...including contacting and admin. So I posted a
message on their FB page. That got a response. A snarky little f#cker bitched me out for daring to ask for support on FB.
Well screw that. I persisted and FINALLY said snarky little f#cker responded saying he checked out my account and it was
just a glitch in THEIR software so he re-instated my account....no "I'm sorry we f#cked up" or anything resembling "I'm sorry".

This is one area that AI is only going to make a bad situation worse. Facebook's AI bots and their so-called "Community Standards"
are a constantly moving floor That meme you posted yesterday that was just fine might well get you banned tomorrow.
