The other day I discovered that KSHMR started his own online production education service, www.dharmaworldwide.com. After trying other types of services like Cymatics Academy.FM, I was a little skeptical to buy a premium account even though it is only $9.99 USD per month. It is kind of tempting, though. You get access to all courses (some are free), 10,000 "points" to use on sample packs or other digital downloads, discounts on merch, early access to tickets for live events, and feedback on your demos. I'm sure there is some type of script or extension you can use to download the videos before a one-month subscription ends so you can watch them on your own time, and then sign up again every few months to update your downloads. The other offerings seem intriguing as well, but I haven't signed up yet. Does anyone here have experience with this yet? If it seems worth it, I'll probably get a 1-month sub.

 

Bro,don't compare Cymatics with KSHMR.I understand where you are coming from and hence the need to be skeptical about similar educational platforms, but its like comparing a hooker on the street (which most likely has AIDS) with a professional porn actress...I presume this is not the best comparison to understand what I want to say about this topic so I will elaborate...I've tried Cymatics stuff (Not the Academy thingy tho) in the past and what I noticed is that they replicate and rely heavily on other famous artists sounds for inspiration (I dunno if they have changed their production style by now)...On the other hand I listen to a very few tracks in the music genre KSHMR is but I've seen some videos with him in the studio and the dude's seems to know his stuff and seems to be original in his compositions...Overall what I want to say is that he seems way more professional and trustworthy than Cymatics...That's why I said a hooker on the street which probably doesn't get tested VS a professional porn actress who GETS occasionally tested for HIV etc etc...Dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with getting inspired from an artist and making a similar sound but copying other's shit to the point where you can tell is simply ridiculous and automatically removes the serious music producer title from your plate...Best of luck with making that decision!

Oh my god, imagine using CymaticsFM as a basis for online production courses. If youre going into that without knowing its a shit joke then youre playing yourself. And then using AcademyFM to be weary of something like KSHMR is just not fair, not even he deserves that lol
