You should have thought it through,
if "the Z1 is an inexpensive holy grail to some because of some of the kind of groundbreaking electronic music records that were made using it" is a valid statement,
then Triton could also be an inexpensive holy grail to some because it has been featured in many songs.
(Triton Extreme 76 was featured in K-ON, just in case you didn't know)

The value of a hardware synth is rather subjective, it depends on your workflow and music style.
I've never listened to Usher's music, I grew up listening to 2000s~early2010s Japanese pop rock metal acg music,
and I prefer Triton to Z1, also I tend to avoid hardware synths with Main Output L&R only.
