Thanks for this thread. It has showed me the mysterious korg software pass that showed up on sister site a few weeks back is useless and pointless... for mac just use moria's releases... I do not understand why people feel the need to update "free" software... just use what works. Going from 1.0.4 to 1.0.5 or 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 is pointless... nothing meaningful changes with the program so why update?

 

he probably just used the r2r keygen that comes with the individual releases instead of dicking around with a pointless product installer...?

Solution: I generated the three keys on a Windows machine and pasted them into a txt file, but for some odd reason, the Wavesstate worked fine but the other keys would say invalid. So, I decided to install VMware and installed Windows as a virtual machine on my Mac to run the keygen. That did the trick. Something was happening during copying and saving to a txt file. Maybe hidden funny characters were added!!!!

PS: It was easy to run keygens on Mac using winebottler, but they haven't updated the app to work on 64-bit. Having a virtual machine will make things easier from now on!

Not useless at all! You can update the apps after registering them.

 

I use Korg Software Pass 1.2.6 but when I run it, it opens then closes, anyone with same problem?

 

I don't see a 1.2.6 r2r release, only 1.2.4.


@Waver , What are you expecting Korg Software Pass to do? And this is on mac or pc? You did read the directions and disable your network card? etc...

Yes, I disabled the card, I dont want to authorize, just checking updates. Do you have windows and does it open for you to see updates for installed synths?

 

No, I am on Mac and have never used it for what you are doing. You have to disable the network cards or it does nothing, even running the already installed application. This includes your wi-fi service, and I do not mean just disconnecting from the network. (at least on mac).

Then it gives you this:
Without the Internet, you cannot register products, download plugins. If you want to install and use Korg software on the computer with no-internet, please click Offline Activation to know how to do that.

Hey all, need some help. Downloaded R2R’s audio software collection for Win and having trouble with the Korg instruments. Looks like I’ve been through some of the issues noted on this thread and have overcome most I think except for the product code request from the Korg Software Pass 1.2.4. Internet access is disabled on my PC. I’ve entered the lock code provided by the Korg software pass into the keygen, I receive a thank you “your product has been successfully registered in KORG ID” screen, I click “OK”, and I receive a screen that says “your items” and a button that says register new product, I’ve tried closing this screen and clicking the button for the next step of registration but the next window asks for a product code which I don’t see in the keygen or any of the files from R2R.

can’t find a way around the product code. I’m trying to set the Korg instruments up as VST plug-ins to Cubase and / or stand-alone but each setup wants a product code prior to use. Ready to give up

You do not leave Korg Software Pass running. You install it, keygen it, close it, and forget it is there. At least on Mac. Then you install the R2R releases of the plugins you want to use like any others and they will work as they are supposed to. The plugins seem to run a check for an installed and activated version of Software Pass being installed on the system as an attempt just to verify where you got them from.

The R2R releases that will work do not say they contain a keygen, patched, regged, or anything else in the titles.

 

Hey Clone, thanks for the quick response. I’ve been sticking to a couple instruments to see if they work but they likely don’t since I can’t open them stand-alone or successfully remove them from cubase’s blockedlist (Polysix, Triton (which is a demo), and Odyssey). There’s synapse instruments and U-he’s that are working fine. I’ve got a few more Korg instruments to go. Hope some of these work!

 

I'm trying to authorize Triton Extreme in FL Studio with TCD 1.2.4 Korg Software Pass (offline).
Where is the product code???
I generated a locking code but without a product code it's no good.

That’s my issue at the moment. All the Korg instruments from R2Rs audio collection want a product code to finish the authentication process for cubase and for stand-alone use. Based on what clone mentions to me above I took it as though the Korg instruments I’m trying to use just arent accessible anymore since I’m entering the license code generated from the locking code but seems like a product code is the final step in software pass. Sounds like the same issue I have a the moment. Hopefully I’m doing something wrong though

 

We must be doing the same thing wrong.
I wish someone would help us straighten this out.
And I especially wish that future release installations would be simplified for demented seniors like me

 

i am saying that you are doing it wrong somehow. but I would always recommend using the R2R release.

Once you have Korg Software Pass installed, these synths should not ask for a product code. They have already been patched.
