Since converting a PS4 controller to that of a MIDI controller through Mac (for free at least) seems to be a largely taboo concept, I've since owned a Korg NanoPAD2 to satiate the need for some kind of a "joystick" to mess around with, says, the Korg WAVESTATION's virtual joystick for all that magical patch shifting and the like.

While the Korg nanoPAD does get the job done, there is just one caveat that I'm yet to rectify just to at least get the "full" experience of a joystick: I cannot seem to find or at least know a way to reset the X/Y coordinates of both CCs 16 and 17 without needing to manually hover over my mouse, double-clicking it- ultimately interrupting my jam session.

While I am aware there being a setting where you can have it where once contact between your finger(s) and the X/Y pad is separated, the CC values for 16/17 would immediately reset to 0, I prefer there to be a pad adjacent to the pad to function as a value reset if I need such a change.

I am on a Mac (as my opener to this post had inferred), and was wondering if there were specific software that'd allow me to realize such automation. If it'd help anything, I do have MIDIpipe by my side, but I wasn't so sure if it can help me out with what I'm aiming for.



TL;DR, I want find a way to quickly reset the X/Y pad coords at the press of a pad on my nanoPAD2.
