NAMM is awesome they're going to release a bunch of cool stuff this year like IK multimedia mastering thing

 

this is not what KORG used to be back in the time.. where are those solid knobs and dials made out of strudy plastic? where are those solid materials and unique electronic components ? how much this thing does weight?

is that thing even made in japan?


i remember when my dad bought a brand new MS-20 (in some mid of 1980's), after we unpacked it, it had even an unique smell.

not overly convince by the sound of it going from the clips, i guess i will have to demo it. real shame only 4 voices & pointless keyboard.

Certainly interesting for anyone looking for a new first and not too expensive synth.

It's nice to see something more appealing than the previous cheapo-type Electribe dissappointment. And the price is alright.

Right, the keyboard is small, but three octaves can work well enough for a little bass/solo zombie.
Also 4 voices is not too bad with dual analog oscillators.

Sound-wise I prefer my Mininova.

'only 4 voices?' This isn't a digital synth. Most are only 2 voices around this price.

Unsure what you expect Korg to do... 8 voices for $200? in our proverbial dreams. heh I for one think it's a killer deal as it stands.

I agree some people have no need for the keyboard. Unsure they'll bother repackaging as just a module at this price-point.

 

With this synth, Korg might be able to repeat what they did with the M1 30 years ago.
