The Korg Legacy collection from sister site was running fine for last couple of years now authorisation window pops up. Has anyone else come across this/ found a work around, reinstall doesn't seem to help on OSX. thanks

I did not have problem with authorization however since we are talking about Korg Legacy I'd like to mention that Legacy Cell doesn't work in my Studio One, Win7, all 64 bit.
M1, Wavestation and other members of the pack work perfectly. The problem with Legacy Cell stays unresolved since S1 v2 till latest version. Sometimes in fresh project Legacy Cell would load and play but as more plugins are being added things complicate, Legacy Cell GUI doesn't show up and eventually the plugin will not load when opening the project at which point Legacy reinstall may help but not for a long. I'd appreciate if anyone has suggestions.

 

Simple, just reauthorize via keygen. Sometimes, it seems to lose your authorization -- in my case, after a Time Machine restore, changing hard drives, etc. Just generate a new key; you shouldn't have any problems for a while.

 

had same problems too ...i must say that this version, is not playing nice with daws, especialy S1... anyone knows at what version are they now ?

 

I bought it a couple Christmases ago because it was only $99 and I already have an iLok.
The Ky'd version I had died with my XP 32bit machine and the emulator would not install on W7 64bit. On XP it was my most stable vst.
I have not used legacy cell yet but now I have to try it out to see if that happens

 

As I'm doing a fresh install, I'd try it too on Ws - may be helpful for others.
Just to be clear, are we talking Packs 6.3.2013 (versions 1.7.0/ 1.3.0) or was there anything newer?

as one poster said, it loses the serials or keys somehow. simply entering these again solved the problem for me...

 

They never used an iLok. The boxed copy (Analog or Digital) came with a Syncrosoft USB dongle. Since then, Syncrosoft went to electronic authorization only and stopped using the dongle.

 

Whatever, I have both iLok and eLicenser. It used one of them.

 

They haven't updated since making the plugs all 64-bit back in 2013. Again, if you enter new authorization numbers numbers via keygen (you only have to do it twice, once for Analog and once for Digital), the plugs will work just fine.
