Lol @ Cat, that wasted emoji cracked me.
Wow, I didn't listened to that Sven Vath track for years. Nice nice :grooves:

Thanks for the share bob, this was my first drum machine, had a lot of fun with it ! Actually first was ES-1 (the green one, sampling), then few months after it ER-1.
Gonna take this journey into the past very happily

You`re very welcome and yes ... Goooooood times!

    @ Catalyst
:lmao: Damn, it`s a f****** "mirror cleaner", I don`t like his productions but as a DJ he was invaluable, defenitly in the "Techno History Books", Mr. Väth.

    @ beatroot
    Glad you like it.

    @ copylefter
Yep, I remember the "First piece of gear" post. And doubtless, you know the upcoming versions of them. No?

I face it :wow: It`s been a long time ... Thank you so much for bringing it back with two well choosen tracks.
Looks like I`m especially "Kraut" about Techno. :dancing:
These guys from Frankfurt were kind of compulsive about their "Style" back in the days (still?).
However, it`s a great vibe and I`m actually playing around a little 4 ttf stuff.

wow Cat, nice tracks you have there *yes*

    @ sideshowbob
ahah yeah, I had them all, first ES-1, then ER-1 and then EM-1 (pretty meh, only good for crappy sounding trance).
The only one I didn't have was the EA-1, but a friend had it so we hooked all 3 together often
Later I had the two ESX/EMX-1.
And btw, no, I didn't know they was planning a new electribe. Thanks for the head up ! :mates:

zeus that song brought back a lot of memories, been having nostalgia ever since. Great track, definitely one of the definitive techno tracks. It's a perfect example of elegance in simplicity, it also reiterates how much more I like euro melodies compared to American melodies for example, there's a distinct sound to them. I wish there were a musical analysis of euro vs. other melodies because there's something special about them. Also makes me wish I had a hot tub time machine. Maybe that can be our next project.

Thanks for the memories. :dancing: [IMG] :dancing: [IMG] [IMG]

Yeah man, I'm too having a retrospective cycle in my life, where I rediscover songs I listened before but didn't pay so much attention (i was more worried in parting hard [IMG]) as I do now. The experience may be...(or that I'm getting old... :bleh: :bleh: )

Early 2000 to 2006 was a great great period for techno-dance-electronic music, everything sounded more real... I don't know how to explain, more human made, not so synthetic... compared to 99% of EDM and progressive stuff you can hear nowadays...

Anyway.. I think I'm sounding like my grandpa when we talked about music and he said mine was crap and I should listen to older things.
