Sorry for making another thread but I'm wondering, can I use Native Instruments Kore without the content? Just the software, I want to use it as a wrapper for some synths.

    Thanks! :3

    @ 1998,

Below, you'll find some snapshots that I done for you to have an idea on how this 'looks like' within 'KORE 2'. You can easily understand that I don't have deleted the KORE 2 'Factory Content', mainly because it works fine for me, that I use it regularly, and also because I don't want to re-install it just for the purpose of making these snapshots... however, you should be able to get it working properly as desired and without the 'Factory Content' (if by 'Factory Content', you're talking about the 'Sounds' and 'Samples').

Synapse Audio 'DUNE' loaded as VSTi in a 'KORE 2' Source Channel. Circled in red is written its name, and the red arrows show you that the audio signal passes through the respective used Channels. All is OK !

The same 'set-up' as previously, but this time with WayOutWare 'KikAXXE'. As within the previous snapshot, circled in red is written its name, and the red arrows show you that the audio signal passes through the respective used Channels. All is OK !

Once again and as previously done, a different 'VSTi' loaded. This time, it's ToguAudioLine 'TAL-U-NO-LX'.
By cons, this time I added a 'Group Bus' with some 'Internal KORE FX' : 'Easy Chorus' & 'Flex Verb'. This way, you can see that you can also use the 'Internal KORE FX' available to customize your sounds the way you like... Always circled in red, the name of the 'VSTi' plus the 'Internal KORE FX' loaded, and the red arrows to show you that the audio signal still passes through all the used Items and Channels.

    Hope it help !

    Wow!
    I didn't even know that.

Is there any advantage of running a plug-in inside KORE, besides being able to use the KORE effects?

I like KORE, it's a shame Native Instruments got rid of it :dunno:
