how to do that is load template without any library then click files and scro;; down to save multi as default

 

If you're using cracked kontakt, ALWAYS use the kontakt with NO 8/16 milti outs. They never allow 16 outputs, always just use the one that says "Kontakt 5"

1. Load kontakt 5 in vst rack
2. goto outputs in kontakt, add output chanels 1-2, add 16 of them
3. It will ask you to delete instance, so delete it then restart
4. Slick on the empty areas and select 1-2 for each, it will ask you to delete instance again, but to avoid this just find the thing that lets you "Save for all versions". Hit that once you set up all 16 outputs.

Whalla, you probably wont understand this, took me a while but I never use multi output 16 in cubase. Only in logic does this act normal

 

i dont ever use the 8 or 16 to be honest i got it working perfectly on the regular kontakt

Ok, so this is how it looks like for me with your file loaded:



As you can see, in Kontakt itself the outputs are now called st. 1, st. 2, st. 3, and so on.

But in Studio One I only have st. 1, then aux 1-4, and then some unassigned outputs.

As you can see in the "channel output configuration" window, which I opened for the output st. 2, this is actually not the real stereo 2 output, it is aux 1 instead.

This is what I don't understand.
I still have no real st. 2, st. 3 etc. in the channel output configuarion window to choose from.

I always use the "regular" Kontakt 5.
I tried removing plug-in/re-loading/saving etc. many times in many different variations.
