There is no absolute right or wrong way to place the title or company logo. Some companies do them like this:
(And in my opinion the only good ones are Westwood and Tapes.01)

The key is when we make these, is to be consistent on how you place your text. I don't use any rulers etc or even templates. I see it right away if it is off. And I always check my work on Kontakt.

There will never be any 'standard' how to make these and that is only a good thing. We all do our own thing. But there are some general guidelines and rules everyone should know and follow.

I look at Material Design standards as being a good thing for android for instance. There were whole tutorial sites from Google dedicated to this. Could developers make apps still that look completely different? Yes, of course, but I propose that overall it was more of a positive thing than not.

I was looking for similarities instead of a swatch of differences. We all know you can find those examples. Kontakt isn't the best software by any means. We all know the lack of modern functionality that should have been there by now.
I think you know this though and just wanted to be contrarian without benefit to the issue. Having more people creating and contributing is a good thing, but maybe that isn't what you want in the end. I'm wasting my time.

 

Hi, just one question, since I confess I haven't installed Kontakt 7 yet... by the way, is it true that you can keep Kontakt 6 and 7 anyway on your pc? In this case maybe it's not necessary to update all the libraries but only for those ones that require K7.

 

I specifically transferred everything to a portable installation so i wouldn't have to worry about this again. It took a long time getting everything working, but it will save a lot of time in the future and was definitely worth it.
I don't specifically see a reason to not use the portable versions at this point.
Here's hoping we get a kontakt 8 that abandons backward kompatibility and instead uses CLAP libraries. Either way, Bitwig will do it and kontakt won't be able to evolve fast enough. It is just unfortunate for all of us that have invested so much into libraries and have been let down by NI for modern support in the kontakt software.

Overall, I recommend protecting your investment by moving to portable.

Ok I'm trying to decide if I were to make the remaining K23 instruments, which style would I go for. Let me know if there is one you really like. Cinematique Instruments has such great stuff and the K23/KLANG based instruments they made are really underrated and a lot of people don't know about them.

Hello designers! Now that my Kontakt traditional browser (wallpapers) is finally stable and functional, I would like to start using the new NKS browser (MST artworks). I have experimented a bit, and can see some benefits to it, including the ease of locating libraries and specific instruments.

In doing so, I shall again adopt a classification by manufacturer (i.e. by maker or brand), which I have found to be most efficient and economical for my use.

In view of this, I would like to kindly ask for MST artworks for the following brands:

Hi k4. Having followed your discussion above, I have to say that I prefer these two wallpapers of yours. I like a bit of margin on the left (not too much though - Flutter probably better), I like the inclusion of the maker's logo, and I like the neater font size. This way, I think the wallpaper is more easily recognisable, is more proportional, and therefore has a more pleasing balance to it. As a suggestion, perhaps the logo could be moved further right, thereby giving you maximum area for any creative background design or other element.

Of course, this is just my own preference as a user of wallpapers.
