No matter what i do, i can't add a wallpaper to my custom libraries. When something seems easy enough no info is available in the whole www. Incredibly i managed to add a wallpaper to "The Bandoneon", by Sampleism. I've downloaded the.png from this page, i've placed the image inside the Bandoneon's folder, i've made the .nicnt file, added library.. When i launch Kontakt the library is there, but the image is about Akoustik Piano, even i've never had that library in my life (wtf)

Any help would very appreciated.

 

Hi avenocturno. Not sure what the problem is, but there are a couple of things you can check:

1. Open the image you copied to the library folder. Is it the one you intended, or did you copy another image in error?
2. If you use software to create the .nicnt file, sometimes an existing wallpaper is overwritten by a default one (so you should copy your wallpaper file after you have created the .nicnt file, remove the default one, and rename your image to "wallpaper.png"). Make sure this has not happened.
3. Did you re-name the image file you copied to the library folder to "wallpaper.png"? Kontakt will only read that filename.
4. If you play the instrument, does it sound like Sampleism's Bandoneon? Or is it another library you may have installed earlier?
