While having over 10,000 Kontakt libraries is certainly impressive at a dedicated collection level, how many have you actually used to create something? It's a reasonable question or do you simply collect libraries? I ask because I only have a mere 1,088 (I double-checked) and I have only used no more than a quarter to create music.

It´s mainly collection. Others collect comics or movies, I collect Kontakt libraries. And learn about. My Kontakt version is hand-made. 6.7.1 for checking Session Bassist Prime Bass, but not bobdule, not R2R version.
How many? Lots of them. From ProjectSAM Symphobia to Singomakers Astral Psytrance or Loopmasters Dystopia. I used to check at least one patch from everyone. And as many of them were originally multiformats, also delete non-kontakt stuff and checking. And others. Registered on Service Center, over 200 nowadays. It depends on the project or projects.
And, of course, all of them working.

It takes a lot of dedication to try and get a complete collection of anything whether stamps, medals, faberge eggs (for the obscenely wealthy), baseball cards, comics etc etc etc.... or in your case Kontakt libraries.
I had begun to think I needed to deregister everything I was not using as I felt I had too many and you have 10,000
I feel better now.
