I will never understand how anyone can dislike gifts given to a community free of charge out of the creativity and goodness of their heart.
With that, I will simply say that anyone who takes the time to create something they think other people may find a use for, who give it for free, thank you. I appreciate all of your efforts doing what you enjoy and passing it to others.

 

It´s a joke between @NYCGRIFF and me. We laugh about everybody and servants who believe masters.

 

In-jokes are cool with those who get the joke but that aside, I am grateful for the artist's efforts
Also, any real master probably doesn't know they are because they're still on the journey.

 

We don´t mind the people who feel concerned. More time for learning, less to critizice.
Artists? I only see one. 16k likes only with wallpapers. No more to add. Made more than 1k wallpapers for me. And it´s different to believe himself to really arrive to convert in one. The main difference is the wish to learn and improve themselves. Really doubt about that journey.
Anyway, all of them who don´t want to learn because think know everything will still thinking the same. No deserve more time.

 

NYCGRIFF is great and is a really friendly and nice human being based on my communications with him.
I never use numbers because Justin Bieber had more than 1 billion people like him and he was still not considered an artist by many professionally trained musicians. Esperanza Spalding kicking him to the curb for best new artist at the peak of his "likes" made that statement loud and clear. That too, is opinion. Some people call Kenny G a jazz artist when he's really an instrumental pop musician. Labels only when it comes down to what is or is not based on opinion.

Everyone has creativity in some shape or form. ... Artists come in all forms of the Arts. If someone creates a work of art that sells for a million dollars and they only ever create one, does that make them less or more of an artist than someone who makes 100,000 works and sells none? There is a huge difference between a professional artist and an amateur artist as sure as there is in music and any art form. Only one makes a living from it. Any person who has been called a master in the course of their life knows how much they do not know and if you do not believe that, fine.
- John Coltrane was called a master many times over globally and when questioned over his sheets of sound technique associated to him he stated "I am still searching..."

"the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."

Question: How did you derive at this analysis? I've been at this forum since 2014. During all this time, I did not know there was a "quality/ratings" statistical formulae in existence. Please enlighten me.
