Something that seems interesting to me. I found a Bundle of Cinesamples Cinewinds on torrent site, and when download finished I look at the NICNT file to check which SNPID number has include the creator of the bundle. It was CW1. Until where I know, that combination is impossible, or not recognized by Kontakt (only from A to F), so I thought I would have to change SNPID and include one mine.

But for my surprise, I add the library to the tab. Tab moved, but library didn´t appear. As in many other cases, I closed Kontakt and reopen. When reopen, library was there. Impossible, I thought. I looked again the NICNT and was CW1, of course. Then I went to Service Center and XLM file was there, so I executed and saw SNPID 00c. So, Kontakt had assigned the first SNPID free had found? Kontakt is Artifficial Intelligency and I didn´t know?

And the library works. I checked 4 different instruments and all they worked. Can somebody explain to me? We register a library with a non-recognized SNPID and adding to the Service Center Kontakt assign the first SNPID free? ¿¿¿¿¿???????

have just started to make some nicnts with MINI-NICNT .. works ok.. but get an error
about not being able to write something to Windows registry.. don't know if it even matters because the libs load...

my problem is that the wallpapers I am using still seem too big and don't scale down to be read clearly ..
am I missing something? I tried adjusting the size based on recommended pixels. but they still seem too big

Make a backup of the wallpaper and then resize it to 210x100 pixels. If it doesn´t look OK (too small), the masters from wallpapers to Kontakt 5.6.x (I still using 5.5.2 and 700x100 pixels) sure know which is the right size for them.

Sometimes MINI-NICNT gives just that error message. Usually doesn´t affect to add the library to the tab as you could check because XML is created the same in Service Center and library added and working. Only in three or four cases hadn´t worked to me. Then I tried with KLM 3 and didn´t work too. What I do? Download a different copy from a different site. It worked, except with Apollo Cinematic Guitars that never remained on tab. After registering and appearing (5 different copies), restarting Kontakt library had disappear. But it´s only one case and until I check, there is a library from 8Dio that simply makes disappear Apollo. And 79 against only one... It´s clear.

also.. one lib I added comes up with an authorize tab.. when the library loads and works just fine... weird..

Most of my libraries comes with the Authorize tab. And I am close to 2000. I know, I read, in other posts, that somebody dislike that, but somebody (don´t remember who, maybe Pinkman) explained how to make changes on registry or in Native Instruments Folder (like a copy of the original folders, can´t remember) for disappearing the Authorize tab that appears on non official libraries include when you execute the last version of Kontakt keygen. I remember that user included a screenshot demonstrating the procedure, but where is that post? Lost in Kontakt subforum suppose. But was on Audioz many days, so thread shouldn´t be too down on the list. I don´t mind that Authorize tab or the DEMO yellow advice, as you know libraries works fine the same so... For me there are more important problems than that, like the maximum size of window on screen. Everybody with their madness....

 

@celtic3342 yeah not a big deal for me either.. I'll hunt that thread down... out of curiosity..

Thanks, buddy! I took on the challenge of 25 wallpapers, and found that it was not too difficult at all. Primarily because these "themed" wallpapers are basically generic; no logos and such to deal with. So, you can just unleash your imagination...
