this is Mushanga75... im new in this forum.
can someone of you with so much patience explain me as customize the Kontakt's library with these wallpapers? I have tried to follow a pair of tutorialses but i always failed :-(

 

I´m not sure to understand you, but the only you have to do is "save as" every wallpaper inside the folder of the library.
But I don´t know if that´s the question.

i mean which steps must I follow for visualizing the wallpaper of the library? As u can see i was able to upload the new libriaries but not the wallpapers :-(

 

But do you have the wallpapers for those libraries? Because, for instance, it´s the first time I see Project Pegasus. There is no wallpaper for that library until I know. So if you want, nothing more to ask. There is enough material on the web for making a wallpaper.

And for Sonatina the same. I didn´t know it too.... But if it´s an orchestra, 300 MB for a orchestra........

 

I created my own wallpapers for those libraries but i couldn't visualize them in Kontakt... i resolved renaming the wallpaper in the correct way.

But there's still a problem...I moved the original folder in which all the bookstores were contained. When I try to upload the new library Kontakt it tells me that it misses some instrument. I try to locate the files in the correct folder but in Kontakt stills visualized the old folder that doesn't exist anymore. It is possible "to clean" Kontakt from the old information?

In the picture the folder MUSICA/Warez and plugins.... etc doesn't exist anymore but still exist for Kontakt.... (??)

 

I´ve noticed you have Kontakt 5.6 and that´s a different beast. In 5.5 you need: 1.- A library 2.- A ncint file and 3.- a wallpaper that must be named just wallpaper, all in the same folder, then you go to the upper left of Kontakt and click ADD LIBRARY. This opens a dialog box where you can navigate your files and point to the desired library folder, then click OK and confirm the instalation. That´s all.

 

Oh ok... so the problem would be my Kontakt version?

I think is the same in the two versions


First mark the option 1 and later Browse where the new location for library is. The interface is not the same but as I can see the options yes are. You will have to do this with all libraries yet registered that you have changed location.

 

Anyway, all this I explained a lot of pages ago. But find it would be ....

 

Hi Guys, I'm pretty new to this forum and I need your help. I downloaded some of your wallpapers and stored it in the folder of the Kontakt instrument. But when I add the library it says: No Library found. Anyone know that issue? I have Kontakt 5.5.2

Yes that issue is well known. You have to use the MINI-NICNT tool. It was posted here by master @NYCGRIFF some time ago and it works the most of the times.

You have to execute as admin on Windows 7 on the same folder of the library and this is the look it has the tool:


In the first field you type the name of the Company.
In the second field you type the name of the library you wish.
In the third field you put the SNPID. For being more easy, you can begin from 01f. From 01f to 99f probably is free so you will not have problems.

Sometimes it gives an error message, but the usual is that, including the error, you can add the library to the tab.

Anyway, if library still not working, give me the name of the library and I take a look to my collection.

I´m not MAC user so I don´t know if program works properly in OSX...

 

No, the utility is for Windows-only. However, perhaps someone can create an NICNT file for him if Wine fails.

 

Not sure if it's still the case, but I had best luck opening kg, apps and tools on Mac with Crossover.
