Skilfull and talented as always, you met all my requests.

At first I was a bit puzzled by your innovative design (verging on New Brutalism, in 'Art-Speak') of the Gent Cathedral Carillon. Merging the unassuming old Grandfathers Clock with the majestic Belgian Cathedral is an artistic Counterpoint worthy Andy Warhol or Duchamp. Seriously... No Mockery. No Pun. But Quite Fun.

At the same time, on a more serious note, it makes me stop and wonder. Isn't this Our Lives in a Nutshell... Striving for the Etheric and Eternal, while the mundane clock on the wall mercilessly keeps on ticking...

I am proud to add this outstanding, and very special, wallpaper to my collection.

In the early 80's I attended a few summer-schools (Music and Creative Art) in Gent, Belgium.
I remember seeing the Dome, no memory of the Carillon, though...
