how is elastik in compare to kontackt ?

 

If something "tanks" it goes down/crashes. "Will this business tank?"

 

wouldn't it be nice if your sampler loaded the library even if one of thousands samples is missing?
wouldn't it be awesome if NI thought of you as an intelligent person, knowing the outcome of loading libraries
where some samples are missing?
or is it "missing sample? pirated for sure!"?
Good guy NI? No way, but we're stuck with some industry standard now, comparable to pro tools.

What K’d version of Kontakt is the last to still have the ”skip missing” button then?

Perhaps you could do the batch resave in an earlier version... Annoying but workable, right?

Yup, NI is doing a little bit of big brother work for us, i guess they want a thank you also

 

I am not sure i think it was v6 they changed it. I didn't need it for a long time and then i did, and it was just gone, spent hours finding out why

But your workaround sadly would not cut it as any new library is likely produced with v6 and not backwards compatible

 

6.1.1 still has the 'Skip' feature. It is a little buggy for some batch work but still usable. I have it right along side 6.2.2 - just renamed the 6.1.1 version (on osx). Both work together just fine.
