    Hey guys,

as you might know, if you follow the MIDI grid and use string sounds, even staccato and spiccicato sounds or anything with instant attack are delayed by 50ms or so.

Is there an option in Kontakt that I can use to handle that delay?

What I do to cope with that is to replace the MIDI event but I feel like thats kinda stupid and uneccesary

Changing the track delay time in your daw is all I can think of.

Well, there's an "offset" setting equivalent to delay, but unless the library allows you to change it (some does it) it's hard to make a global change in KTT.

So I'd go with @Smoove Grooves advice:
In fact, other string VSTIs like Ample Sound guitars advise you (in the manual) to do just that To delay -50ms the track if you want the sound to start when you really put the midi note.
