Well I think this is my first post so my acc is still restricted other wise I would've posted in the relevant sub forum. Ok so here it goes my problem: I wanted to use 8dio's requiem pro on an flstudio track. When I "pluck" on kontakt's own little keyboard at the bottom the samples work just fine. When I lay a pattern in the sequencer then hit play in flstudio the section of the instrument I need gets muted in kontakt, till I reload the library. No other library does this and the others work as intended except 8dio's Requiem Pro. The instrument in question is Requiem_Pro_Choral_FX.nki.(but I have had it happen with several more instruments in that same library) It has several keyswitches(the one with problems from this inst is ambience) and some work and others don't after trying to play notes in flstudio's own piano roll. As far as I know all settings seem to be correct. hi your cpu is in the red there and look to see if your getting buffer under-runs as well from it.

here is a fix i use that could help

in the wrapper settings / under processing
use fixed size buffers ( for buggy plugins) if that don't work
press the more tab / try max first them max from host
one of the two could fix it,
also in options make sure/ set mix in buffer switch is on
safe over loads is on set to the highest,
On the same list under cpu
multi gen on /mixer on /smart disable is on that's if you have more than one core.

if it works save it as a snapshot add to plugin database and the setting will be saved for the wrapper
when you open kontakt again

 

Requiem Pro Library is dodgy. Make sure u installed it correctly & there no missing files. Loads of people have had problems.

If the problem with the keyswitch could be problems with something to do with Purging samples ie when u hit keyswitch it reloads the samples which suggests possibly the samples not loaded in the first place.

Plus it not "muted" in Kontakt it just not playing back. Also check your pattern not outside the range of the patch obviously

Try and load the patch standalone see if you get playback & resave NKI, check the if works fine.

Can't see much from the vid part from when you reload it purges samples & reloads the samples.

Check the samples actually loaded in the first place & no purge function in place etc.

Could also be LOADS of other things. Don't have that library as don't own it so can;'t test but sure it prob pretty much something simple

Do you get normal function standalone?

& yes as momo said your CPU is absolute MAX & playback rubbish. U need to sort out buffer sizes, use DFD, use less instances as that patch if that all u running way not right.
