Something I’ve noticed occasionally is when I try to use the lite converter to shrink a part of a Kontakt library, instead of the 1.95 gigabytes of the original extracted samples from the .nkx it’s a slightly larger folder, most recently a 2.04 gigabytes folder of “compressed” samples and then it fails to be packed back into a nkx… is there something wrong with the library or is there like different tiers of native instruments products and they specifically make like “higher tier” libraries like Claire and the session guitarists harder to shrink and manage?

And when I tried shrinking Claire, the interface had errors everywhere even though I only converted the .nkx files that should only contain samples… are they storing like wallpapers and scripts in the sample folders now too?

in progress with electric storm library and figured I’d ask in case there’s a simple solution like I just need four times the space the library occupies normally for the converter cache and temporary files while it runs so it can avoid the different number of files error or no disk space left error
