    Hi audiolovers!
    After updating a Kontakt library: Where can I see what version the library is?
    This would help to see that everything worked well with the update.
    Sometimes the library gives the information right away, when clicking on it and with the 'Info' on.
    But this is not working for all the libraries.

    Thanks for any help!

    Yes u can when u run the service centre it tells you what library version installed. That's legit of course.

    You can probably do the same with cracked kontakt no problems.

    Another way would be to use regit check HKLOCALMACHINE/SOFTWARE/NATIVE INSTRUMNENTS & you find all your kontakt libraries listed with the appropriate info such as library version etc & everything u need to know. There other ways also but these will work

    @ Au38wzh,

    Check the following 'Path' through your System ( :excl: I'm under 'Windows 8.1' :excl: ) :

    Programmes (This Folder is the '64bit' equivalent of 'Program Files (x86)' `!) --> Common Files --> Native Instruments --> Service Center

    Inside this 'Service Center' Folder, you can find several '.xml' Files. Simply take a look if some of your installed 'Kontakt' Libraries are present, then for these present, simply 'double-click' on their corresponding '.xml' Files, then when opened you may see their Versions.

    As an example :

    If I open the '.xml' File of one of my installed 'Kontakt' Libraries : 'Output Sounds REV', I get the following :

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
    <ProductHints spec="1.0.16">

    <Product version="1">
    <Name>REV</Name>
    <Type>Content</Type>
    <Relevance>
    <Application nativeContent="true">kontakt</Application>
    </Relevance>
    <PoweredBy>Kontakt</PoweredBy>
    <Visibility>1</Visibility>
    <Company>Output Audio</Company>
    <AuthSystem>RAS2</AuthSystem>
    <SNPID>998</SNPID>
    <RegKey>REV</RegKey>

    Hope that this method could serve you in some way (?) :wink:

    *yes* :wink: :bow:

    About my previous example : The 'Output Sounds REV' Kontakt Library, if I open its corresponding 'Regedit' (Windows Registry) Folder, on the right side within the Folder named : 'ContentVersion', I get the following : 'Value 1.0.0' :wink:
