Hey guys, any help from anyone who has had this issue would be appreciated.

I'm using Kontakt 6.0.3 (No Install), windows 10. I've successfully added many libraries but yesterday I tried to install Symphobia 4 through the means of the "Add Library.exe" as always, and it says it was successfully added, yet the library did not show up in my list of libraries. I had the same problem (which I gave up on) with "Ascend Modern Grand". I checked the xml file and the ninct file and they line up. I haven't delved into the registry yet, figured I might be overlooking something simple?

If anyone else has had this problem and could perhaps shed a little light, it would be appreciated.

if you look in the folder or in your files you should see a version of kontakt 5.6 or 5.8 in the downloaded files , run that to install your libraries first then run 6.0.x i am a mac user also and it works for me so it might work for windows

Your hint is for mac version. OP is experiencing problem on Windows version where the method is different, not with 5.6.0 version.

 

You need to run Kontakt (and Add Library.exe) as Administrator.

 

Also it's possible that the SNPID code in nicnt file has already been used by previous library in your Kontakt. What are the codes for these libraries in your files?

 

You need a newer Kontakt version. I think Symphobia 4 requires at least 6.1.

 

That's what I was thinking, the 2 libraries in question are pretty new. I've been hesitant to go from 6.0.3 NoInstall to 6.2.2 which is apparently a full install. (Newest russian source)

just a little heads up , my mate has tried this on his WINDOWS setup and it actually does work he has got kontakt 6.1 and he cant load the libraries in either so he downloaded the 5.6 standalone and used that to load in the libraries and ran 6.1 in his daw and the libraries showed up in the list

I just simplified the installation process.

 

I uninstalled the noinstall and installed the 6.2.2 (which was very simple, great distribution) and the missing libraries are there. All order has been restored.
