Hi to everybody again! After a while without internet connection, I have updated the version of Kontakt 6.5.1, it works fine, but I always end up with the same libraries that work, "The Giant Piano" and "Kontakt Factory Library" I download many that I would need and always the same error.

"Not Library Found"

I am already a little tired of not being able to make the libraries work, since in the photos of the pages where I download them they come out perfectly loaded on the left side of Kontakt, I mean they work. I had read something about creating the .nicnt file and loading them from there, but not even with those. Someone to save my life with this tedious matter? I would like to have my necessary libraries well installed, since I would not need many, I dedicate myself to HipHop, some powerful instrument such as good violins, or good flutes or good specific instruments.


The truth would be helpful. I'm a little tired of having only 2 libraries that work for me.

You need to add them in Kontakt 5 and then they will appear in Kontakt 6.5.1. I've got them working that way in Big Sur.

 

I already do so. But when adding them I get "Library Not Found" The problem is with the ".nicnt" files since there are some libraries that do not bring it, but instead in the images of the pages where I download them they appear well loaded on the left side of Kontakt.

 

Check xml, make sure the snpid# is the same in both xml and nicnt files.

If still no check some comments on sister site on the most recent mac kontakt release from Arb and Iggy:

Open nicnt in textedit and at the bottom replace :

<Visibility type="Number">3</Visibility>

with this :

<Visibility type="Number">3</Visibility>

If still not working remake nicnt files using kontakted or NICNTGenerator.

 

You can create your own nicnt files using some programs, check audioz for that, or from the packs made by Noone01.

how do you manage to install kontakt 5 in Big Sur? Pls explain

 

You don't install it, you just copy the app from storage. Some releases include it.

 

Yeah, I simply took my old component and app and it works. Before I tried to install a version 5.

but you can’t add Kontakt libraries with k5 on Big Sur cause of the xml which has changed. Kitty Script works fine for all never libs. The older one mostly needed a nicnt if they still on nkx nkc only
