Hi any help would be greatly appreciated. Im looking to install kontakt 2 factory library on Mac OS Monterey/ Logic X 10.7.9. with latest Kontakt 7 version is there anything i should be aware of upon installing successfully? Also I'm trying to install 3rd party libraries and the old way i used to do this was using kontakt 5 but now it crashes upon opening. is there another way? ive been a little out of the loop for a while.

 

Update ive installed the third party libraries fine using the add library command but after installing the Kontakt factory library 2 it is not showing in the left library panel, i can see it in the database but not in the left library panel. i can see the original library v1 in there but not the 2, i removed the library factor v1 encase that was the issue but no avail. any idea?

 

There was a bug in the original factory library. namely in the nicnt data. If you've installed the last update.. oh, perhaps it's only for Windows...

Anyways, you have to edit in a text editor the nicnt file. Don't remember the details, but there're in some other threads here
